There are evenings when cold, fruity, refreshing, and creamy is exactly what you want, and this strawberry basil cottage cheese ice cream delivers all three. Creamy and scoopable high protein keto ice cream with 12.1g protein with 5.5g net carbs per serving.
The basil does something interesting here. It makes the strawberry taste brighter and more intensely fruity, the way very good summer strawberries taste at their peak. Most people taste it and just think the strawberry is unusually fresh. That is exactly what it is supposed to do.
The ice cream base is full-fat cottage cheese, completely smooth and whipped before anything else goes in. When it comes out of the Ninja Creami (if using), it is cold, creamy, and genuinely scoopable.
