When I want a quick, easy, and filling chocolate dessert, I make this chocolate cottage cheese mousse.
Before I started eating keto, I would happily skip dinner and go straight to dessert. Chocolate especially. Fruity desserts are nice, but chocolate is the one I always crave.
This chocolate cottage cheese mousse is the dessert I make when I want something that feels indulgent but still works with how I eat now. It is creamy, chocolatey, and spoonable, and it happens to be high protein, keto, sugar-free, and gluten-free.
I also use desserts like this as part of diabetic-friendly plates, because they are protein-forward without feeling like a compromise.
I make this when I plan dessert ahead of time. It takes about five minutes to blend, then it sets in the fridge while I do other things. I usually pour it into two jars and forget about it until later, which is honestly my favorite kind of dessert situation.
